Snowey Labs

Privacy

This site keeps no record of you. The only thing that leaves the page is what you choose to send through the idea box. Here is the whole list.

  • No analytics and no tracking scripts. Nothing on these pages counts visits or follows you to other sites, so there is no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
  • No cookies set by me. The theme switch in the header stores one word, light or dark, in your browser's local storage. When you zoom into a cube, your browser keeps the eyepiece's position on the screen (two numbers and the time) in session storage, so the next page can open from that spot; the next page deletes it as soon as it reads it. Neither ever leaves your browser, and you can clear both like any site data.
  • The idea box on the home page sends what you type, and the contact line if you fill it in, to Snowey's inbox as an email, through an email-sending service, Resend, which handles the message in order to deliver it. That is the only place it goes. Nothing is saved on this site. Your IP address is not passed along: the email holds your words, the contact line if you gave one, and the time it was sent. If the contact line is an email address, it is set as the address a reply goes to. The host's function handles the request on the way, like any web server handles a request.
  • Fonts are served from this site, not from Google or any other font service, so no third party sees that you opened a page here.
  • If you email the address on the contact page, I use what you wrote and your address to reply. It is used for that and nothing else, and it is not added to any list.
  • Links to Telegram, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram take you to those services. What they collect is governed by their own rules, not mine.
  • Hosting. The site is plain files and one small function (the idea box) served by a hosting provider, which sees requests the way any web server does. I do not read or keep those server logs.

If something here is unclear, write to me.
